Online shopping can be fun, but also confusing at times. You’re excited about that soon-to-be-yours product, but you can’t easily tell when to expect its arrival. So, let me walk you through our pillow form shipping process.

The Birth of Your Pillow

All of our pillows are made to order. Once we receive your order, the fabric is cut, the pillow is stitched and stuffed, and the pillow form goes through our vacuum process (unless it’s a super big pillow). In other words, your pillow form is made to order--there’s no warehouse full of pillows sitting around here. (This is why we ask you to double check all your sizes, fill types, and quantities before ordering; as this order is custom made.)

Most orders will be ready to ship between 1 and 10 business days. While we work hard to get every order made and shipped as quickly as possible some orders could take longer depending on order size, pillow type, and current demand and production capacity.

Pillow Form Shipping

Now that your pillows have been created and boxed up, they can head on their journey to you. We currently use UPS Ground for our shipping. Depending on where you live (compared to our location), it could take 1-6 business days. To help you out, here’s a map (courtesy of UPS.com) showing expected shipping times. These are not guaranteed times--to guarantee arrival times, you must choose UPS Second Day or Next Day Air.

 We also offer Second Day Air and Next Day Air for your urgent orders. According to UPS, Second Day Air is delivered by the end of the second business day and Next Day Air is typically delivered by 10:30am the next business day. Please remember that the delivery time frame starts once your order is shipped out. It does not start from the moment you place your order. Also, remember that all time frames are based on business days--meaning Monday through Friday except for Federal holidays.

Shipping Examples for PillowCubes Premium Inserts

Let’s say that you order a case of pillows at 11am EST on Monday morning and you want them delivered to Chicago. Your order will ship by Wednesday. Since Chicago typically takes two business days for regular shipping, you should receive it on Friday. Best-case scenario, your order is filled Monday afternoon and it arrives Wednesday. (We can’t guarantee that quick turnaround time, but it does happen...especially on smaller orders.)

In a rush? If you chose Next Day Air shipping, it’s guaranteed to arrive Thursday, after a potential two-business day processing time. (In our best-case scenario, it could possibly arrive on Tuesday.)

For another perspective, let’s say that you order a case of pillows at 3pm EST on Friday afternoon and you want them delivered to Seattle. Your order will ship by Tuesday (since it can take two business days to manufacture your order). Since Seattle typically takes five business days for regular UPS shipping, you should receive it on the following Tuesday. Best-case scenario, your order is filled Monday morning and it arrives the following Monday.

In a rush? If you chose Next Day Air shipping, it’s guaranteed to arrive Wednesday, after a potential two-business day processing time. (In our best-case scenario, it could possibly arrive on Tuesday.)

Want more information while waiting on your package to arrive? Once your package ships out, you’ll be assigned a tracking number. You can watch the progress of your package’s travels, and will know when it’s close to arrival.
